Most Dim Sum place would have carts filled with different plates of Chinese food. They go to each table and you can pick what you want. If the restaurant is too small then you have to order your food by filling out a form then they would bring them to your table. That's when the Dim Sum waitress comes in.
There's nothing before or after these panels. I was just playing around with different comic style.

Here's a step by step for my Spectreman fan art I did for a gallery show earlier this year. I started out with a rough doodle for composition. Then tighten up with details and work in gray scale. After that, I applied the colors.
The weather is so nice today. It was warm too. Finally able to enjoy it. Hope we'll have some more sunny days.

Atomic Lead is a book I put together with my coworkers and the latest issue is now available on Indy Planet. I did two short stories in the book. Click on the pic above to see the 6 page preview and order a copy or two online.
Not very pretty at this stage. I just need to figure out how to arrange the panels and where to put the word balloons. After that, I start thinking about the characters and how I want to render the art to best fit the story.
Above is a two panel teaser that I whipped up. I tried to do it more painterly but it didn't feel solid enough. But I like the energy of the quick strokes. There's a certain chaos and madness to the line work which I thought would fit the story.
It was a good experience working with someone else script. In the future, maybe I'll have another opportunity to work with Mr Harms on a different project.
There is this 12 inch figure designed by Ashley Wood... Les Mort 13. I really dig the design and the toy looks very pose-able. There's a comic of this character too but I have no idea what the story is about.
Last night was a nice episode of Hurley with Libby. Glad he have his happy ending... plus we now know what the whispers on the island are. Dude!
When I was a kid, I was not allow to watch Ultraman because it was right at my afternoon nap time. I only caught a few episodes and I always carry that feeling of wanting to see the show. Flash forward to couple of weeks ago at Borders bookstore... I found the season one of Ultraman dvd box for only Five bucks! It was a easy buy. I went back home and watch 5 episode in a role. Well, I can honestly say it's not as cool as I remember it to be. None of the story make any sense and fx doesn't hold up.... still I kinda dig how they put the show together with limited resources. For me, it was a trip down memory lane and I finally able to skip nap time to watch the show.
This is Michael (Steve Carell) from, "the Office". I really like the show and got all the DVDs. I play them when I'm working on the computer as background noise. When I first saw it... it was so hard to watch (not because it was bad but the situation was so uncomfortable) I had to turn the channel. But I tried again later on and got hooked by the whole Pam, Roy, and Jim plot, that I had to get the box set to catch up. About the quote... you'll have to watch the show to find out. ;)
So I have an account on deviant Art and for April Fool's day, they swap out EVERYONE'S profile icons. Look who they put for mine. Just frakin' great...grrrrr.... :(
