I did not see the movie. Just find the visual design to be very colorful and unique... like many of Tim Burton's films.

I remember watching the Dark Shadows in 2004 and liking it. But I have never seen the original series so I can't judge how faithful all these versions are.

RIP Maurice Sendak

Maurice Sendak left us yesterday.  "Where the Wild Things Are" is my favorite children book.  The creatures and story was kinda scary and I loved it.
