2011 was pretty eventful for me. Doing the artist alley at ECCC in March was a lot of fun. I took tons of cosplay photos even met Phoenix Jones.
inFAMOUS 2 and inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood (DLC) for PS3 came out this year. Also did another panel talk at PAX Prime on 2D cutscenes construction for inFAMOUS to a small but enthusiastic crowd... thanks to all those folks that showed up. Hope you like the t-shirts. ;)
Going into 2012, I have couple of personal projects in the works and will share when I have anything concrete to show... so check back often.
Finally... Thanks everyone for checking out this little art blog! I really appreciate it and will try to post as much as possible. Hope everyone have a happy and prosperous new year in 2012!!

Monster Chase
This is a test web comic idea I was playing around with. Doing a regular web comic would be fun but it is a lot of work to keep some sort of schedule daily or weekly. The upside... once the story arc is over, it can probably be collected in a regular comic to sale at Emerald Con. Maybe if I have a good enough idea, I might give it a try.

Zombies vs Cheerleaders
This one page strip is in Zombies vs Cheerleaders #3 by Moonstone Books. I just did the line art earlier this year. Story, colors, and lettering by someone else.

Woody and Buzz
About a week ago, I attended a story/anim masterclass taught by Matthew Luhn and Andrew Gordon from Pixar. It was very informative and inspiring. That weekend, I drew this fan art and send it to them to say "thanks". It's my take on Woody and Buzz except they are more human looking instead of toys.

Occupy Seattle
I took a trip to Seattle and suddenly this came around the corner... Occupy Seattle marched from West Lake through Pike Place Market. Pretty surreal seeing so many protesters... and everyone else with their smart phones taking photos and videos.

Brick Con 2011
Brick Con is going on this weekend at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. It was very crowded today with lots of kids running around. Still it was really fun to see what you can do with lego blocks. Below are just a few cool lego pieces I saw.
The skull pirate island comes with a smoking top and water fall from its mouth.
Here are bunch of cube Lego dudes. Look closely to see if you can recognize any of the characters.
These Lego guns are pretty amazing. Not only are they to scale, some of them have moving parts include the rifle bolt, removable ammo clip (with Lego bullets inside!), and squeezable trigger.
I think this is one of the best one from the show. This park have animated amusement game pieces (example, the whack a mole moves up and down) as well as the amusement rides.
Beside the Lego exhibit, there are also vendors selling old Lego sets, custom characters, spare parts, and custom Lego sets. So if you are in the Seattle area this Sunday, this is worth checking out.

Sketch Cards for Charity
Steven Frank (5finity) is doing a sketch card auction to rise money for March of Dimes. This is his fourth year doing the "Superhero for Babies" drive. I worked on 10 cards and they are all up on ebay for bidding.
You can check out the auction HERE! Don't wait too long...I think this round of auction ends this weekend.

The Walking Dead
Deputy Rick Grimes blasting away at the zombies. This is the TV version of The Walking Dead (on AMC) so I tried to get a little of Andrew Lincoln likeness for Rick. Second season start October 16th!

That's how you do it.
"It should be a easy fit.", as I said to myself carry a large size cork board to my car. I opened the back door and quickly realized how 2 inches could make a big difference. Long story short... I dropped the front seats all the way back, slide the board in to the backseats, then upright the driver seat. Done!
You might be thinking what a odd thing to post on a art blog. If you ever get a huge cork board from the art store and you only have a small sedan to carry it back with... then this post will come in handy. ;)

Quick little sketch of the Square MK2 from ThreeA toys.
Hmmmm... wonder if they are walking forward or backward?
